An all-inclusive approach to thoughtful early childhood education
Green Meadows Schoolhouse was created for families looking for a place where children feel safe, known, and truly cared for each day.
Rooted in Montessori principles and child-led learning, our schoolhouse communities help children grow with confidence while giving parents peace of mind.
Now enrolling at our Bexley, Lewis Center and Powell locations.
What do young children bring to their learning? Everything.
At Green Meadows Schoolhouse, we believe children are naturally capable, curious, and deserving of deep respect.
Rather than forcing children into rigid systems, our teachers thoughtfully follow each child’s developmental readiness and natural curiosity to create meaningful experiences that deepen learning while inspiring confidence and joy.
Founded in 2018 by Ms. Leah, a mother of three, Green Meadows was created to reimagine traditional childcare through a more responsive, relationship-based approach — one that nurtures not only children, but the whole family.
Our classrooms blend the best of Montessori principles along with child-led exploration and responsive caregiving practices. This provides children with emotional security and strong academic foundations in a loving, calm and playful environment.

True All-Inclusive Care
Childcare should support your entire family, not create more stress at the end of a long day.
That’s why tuition at Green Meadows includes many of the daily essentials busy parents are constantly juggling elsewhere. In addition to full-time enrollment programming, your tuition includes:
All meals prepared in our from-scratch dedicated kitchen: Freshly prepared organic breakfast, lunch and hearty afternoon snack
All supplies: Bottles, formula, diapers, wipes and all classroom essentials included
Before and after care for school-age children
Transportation to and from local schools
Purposeful design: Calm, thoughtfully designed classrooms
Responsive teachers who truly know your child
Owner-led schoolhouse communities focused on relationships over volume.
Less time packing, planning, and managing logistics means more time being together as a family.
The Green Meadows difference: All-inclusive, locally owned childcare.
Green Meadows was started by a mother of three who wanted better for her children.
Lower-cost childcare often means larger group sizes and fewer included amenities. Green Meadows was intentionally designed with smaller group sizes, a higher level of individualized care, and an all-inclusive program that supports the whole family.
Green Meadows was built to feel different from franchised childcare.
We know our families personally, keep our classrooms calm and nurturing, and create an environment where children feel secure enough to grow naturally. Every detail— from our chef-prepared meals in our on-site and dedicated kitchen to our classroom design to our family communication— is thoughtfully created to support both children and parents in everyday life.
Because early childhood should never feel rushed, impersonal, or one-size-fits-all.

Each of our three locations shares the same child-centered curriculum and philosophy, respectful caregiving approach, and commitment to supporting the whole family.
Bexley families tend to stay connected for years, and our schoolhouse reflects that. Parents know one another, children grow up together, and relationships with teachers become an important part of daily life from infancy through preschool.

Our Lewis Center community serves many young families balancing busy careers, long commutes, and full schedules. We’ve intentionally created a calmer, more supportive environment where both children and parents can feel more grounded during the week.

Many Powell families come to Green Meadows looking for something more personal than the larger childcare franchises nearby. They want strong early education, but they also want their child to feel genuinely cared for each day and not shuffled through a system.

From our families:
“We love GMS! We toured so many daycares when I was pregnant, and GMS was the only place that made me feel peace. The staff is so kind, everyone acknowledges my son and you can tell they truly care about all of their littles. As a parent, I have peace of mind dropping off my child everyday knowing he is being loved and cared for. This is a special place!”
— Whitney G.
“Let’s talk about the food: the commitment to wholesome meals is such a breath of fresh air. It’s so rare to find a place that values nutrition as deeply as education.
But perhaps the most striking part of Green Meadows is how much joy radiates through it.
Highly recommend ❤️”
— Chrissy H.
“From the minute we met Leah, we knew Green Meadows Schoolhouse was a very special place. We made a great decision for our family! All of the teachers and staff help make GMS a great place to grow.
Oh...we can't forget - the kid's meals are INCREDIBLE!!!!!”

Created by a mother who wanted something better
Green Meadows Schoolhouse was founded by Ms. Leah, a mother of three who wanted early childhood education to feel more personal and more respectful of both children and parents.
What started as a small vision for a different kind of childcare experience has grown into three schoolhouse communities built around strong relationships, thoughtful teaching, and the understanding that children learn best when they feel safe and genuinely cared for.
Today, Green Meadows remains intentionally owner-operated — something that has become increasingly rare in premium childcare. Families know who is leading the school, children are truly known by their teachers, and parents have a place that feels supportive from the first day forward.
Green Meadows Schoolhouse: A place to grow
When children feel safe and genuinely cared for, learning comes more naturally. They build confidence, form strong relationships, and develop the foundation they’ll carry with them long after these early years.
And when parents know their child is receiving thoughtful education in a nurturing environment, there’s peace of mind in knowing they’re exactly where they should be.
Serving families across Bexley, Lewis Center and Powell. Now enrolling infants through school-age children.
